Description
The Twins organization is once again offering a high-performance off-season hitting program to those players that have been selected for winter training. The program will be 7 weeks in duration starting the week of November 1st and running through the week of December 13th.
Former Twin and current Seattle Mariners high single-A manager Louis Boyd will be leading the hitting sessions. Louis managed the Everett Aquasox this past season and was named Seattle Mariners employee of the year. Louis will bring his professional coaching experience as well as the latest techniques and trends used to teach hitting at the professional level.
He will work with current Twins coaches Parker Kynoch and Mark Pottie to deliver the hitting program to players of all levels in the Twins organization. The program will include skill and performance assessment through video analysis and data driven training with data collected from Rapsodo, HitTrax and Blast Motion baseball technologies.
Cost: $395 for one session per week for 7 weeks. Each session is limited to 15 players keeping a 1:3 coach to player ratio. All sessions are to be held at Inside Performance.
